The Ecolabel ABNT program – Environmental Quality (Ecolabelling) is a voluntary method of environmental performance certification. The program was developed in order to support a continuing effort to improve and / or maintain environmental quality by reducing energy consumption and materials and minimizing the impacts of pollution generated by the production, use and disposal of products and services.
The criteria documents are prepared based on an overview of issues related to the evaluation of the life cycle of products and specifications information to similar products from other environmental labeling programs developed by other members of the Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN). In practice, the certification attests that the process developed by Antares Recycling is less aggressive to the environment compared to other similar processes adopted worldwide.
Obtaining the “Green Seal” by Antares Recycling demonstrates its concern for development of environmentally friendly production systems for sustainable development, to ensure the company’s credibility with its customers / partners.
